About Purple Window

Purple Window is an artist-led, community-supported project space and gallery inside Mana Contemporary Chicago. As an artist cooperative, Purple Window is jointly owned and democratically controlled by its members. The co-op exhibition space is run by a panel of Chicago-based artists, devoted to fostering a sense of community and empowerment for artists both within and outside of city limits. Purple Window is committed to building a community-centric environment that promotes local, emerging, and under-represented artists and makers. The gallery exhibits innovative artists across disciplines through monthly two-person, group, and four-person exhibitions in our studio space at Mana Contemporary Chicago.

Purple Window Members include: Lauren Iacoponi (Founder), Rebecca Griffith, Natalie Pivoney,  Amy Shelton, Naomi Elson, Shane Elliot Bowers, Nico Rizzo, Giselle Mira Diaz, Antoinette Viola, and Angelina Diana.
